Meet Michael Hill, a former nuclear power plant worker who became a lottery winner, then became a killer who was just sentenced to ALL the calendars in prison Friday after he was found guilty of killing a woman he was in relationship with for almost 2 years.
Hill, from Brunswick County N.C., was convicted of first-degree murder for the death of Keonna Graham, who was found dead in July of 2020 in a hotel room in Shallotte, N.C., after her mother reported her missing.
Dude was arrested in Southport, North Carolina. The cops said he confessed to shooting Graham after learning she had been texting other men while she was in the hotel room with him.
A report from her autopsy revealed Graham’s body was found by maid staff. According to the report, she was lying on her stomach on the left side of the bed, with a gunshot wound to the lower left side of her head.
Hill won $10 million in a scratch-off lottery ticket back in 2017. At the time, he said he would take a lump sum payment of $6 million instead of 20 payments of $500,000, for 20 years.
Hill and Keonna dated for 18 months leading up to her murder.
Hill was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole Friday by a jury after only one hour of deliberation.
